I went to a Memorial Day Ceremony.
In spite of McCain's present day behavior, why is everyone so upset about the movie? His service is to be honored.

Until someone can explain to me how someone leaves a Vietnamese prison weighing significantly more than they did going in, McCain can kiss my glutes.

I believe it was called "Why I should be president" by John Mccain.
By the way love the screenname... I'm a huge fan of Churchill and have whole books of his quotes.

Is cable just a tool for "neoconservatives"?

Me too. Man that was really cool. I never knew that the SG-1 crew got its hands on Star Trek/Star Wars technology (faster than light).

P.S. I've never seen a politician, even libs, as neutered and self-serving as McCain.

Sorry, my stomach wasn't up to it. I watched Family Guy instead, much more intellectual.

I caught the end of the first one, they were loading up in a truck to come home. I heard Jerimiah Denton's name being called & was hooked.

I am now watching the rebroadcast. If those men survived so many years of horror, I can at least separate Mccain the politican from McCain the POW for one night..

As an aside, this is a masterful stroke for a man who has "not yet decided" if he will run for President. This will be the McCain the sheeple vote for. Not the man who took over the GOP last week.

Your right. I think conservatives in general feel like they bare the brunt of his love-affair with the liberal media and tendency to vote with the Democrats on every major wedge issue.

Reviews on having cable? You are not missing anything. In fact, we put in our cancellation order on Friday. $50 a month is way too much for the little bit of TV we watch.

no, No, NO! Channel surfed for all of 5 seconds. When I came to the channel A&E showing the McCain movie and realized what I was viewing, I quickly turned the channel. There's a better movie (2005) on channel 312 starring Patrick Swayse from Frederick Forsyth book named "Icon". Very interesting!

I did, it was OK, but short on details. Nothing special but don't be surprised if he doesn't yet wind up as president. You can't beat somebody with nobody and right now the Republicans have nobody else.
