Foreman said he could not violate the confidential doctor-patient relationship respected around the world by giving the authorities the medical documents. The reports and the victims of rape are both very real and we continue to do our medical work in Darfur, he said.
Islamic societies also kill women who have had sex out of wedlock.

If they dont give us the medical documents, we will send them to the criminal court [on the charge of] publishing a false report which harms the general peace, he said. There is "general" peace in Sudan? Seems the charge could be fought on that claim alone. I wouldn't give them the documents either...those 500 women would be sure to "disappear".

Who said all of the Rape victims were women? Maybe that's what Islamic sensibilities fear?

And if the raped women were Christian, then no crime was committed. Raping a non-Muslim is considered a good deed in the eyes of Allah. After all, non-Muslim women are lower than property and are considered mere objects in Islam and deserve to be punished. Remember that that is how Muslims view our Christian wives and daughters here in the U.S..

While I'm cynical about Darfur, I also have to admit that Doctor's without Borders has mouthed off before without proper evidence. They are as libby as can be.
To: xzins
Mr Foreman had better be very careful.
I suspect the Sudanese want to demonstrate the activities Mr. Foreman has reported upon his posterior.

Ok, and now ......here it comes....."The Outrage and Protests of all the MODERATE MUSLIMS "!
uh, sure is quiet.
Well, ok. They're the "good" Muslims, the "moderate" ones, my "neighbors". I better shut up so I don't alienate them.
After all...we sure don't want to lose their support.
If there was one Muslim Freeper who would speak up in this forum I would be surprised.

It serves MSF right. They have been apologists for the muslims for a number of years. Maybe this will be a good slap up-side the head for them when they wing up being forced to grovel to us for help in this matter.

MSF feels free to issue statements without evidence. Just take our word for it. They don't have that kind of credibility. Of course when the argument is "did to...did not" between MSF and Sudan there isn't much credibility on either side.

This is out of islamic Sudan who condones murder of Christian missionaries. The govt wants to cover up its atrocities.

That's my read on this, too. Other relief organizations will be next for various forms of not being able (willing) to fully document any accusations they make.
Salvation Army, Shepherd's purse and other missionary groups should be on the alert.

If that story doesn't take all. A bunch of savage, backwards, "religious" rapists who are nothing more than a bunch of fudgepacking fags. Sick!

If there was one thing I could change about Islamic teachings it would be that the word liberals or liberal would have to be substituted for women.
