U.S. Soldiers Arrest Four Iraqi Militants

BAGHDAD, Iraq - U.S. soldiers have detained four suspected Iraqi militants, including a former Saddam Hussein intelligence chief believed to be financing insurgent groups, the military said Wednesday.

The arrests took place in Baghdad during a series of raids that began Sunday, a military statement said.

There was someone else tageted in this same operation....found this in another article.

"Another specifically targeted individual was also seized in the same operation," according to the statement, which did not elaborate.

Isn't Al Duri reported to be based in Syria? Several reports in the past place him there, if memory serves.

Isn't Al Duri reported to be based in Syria? Several reports in the past place him there, if memory serves.

Some reports have said as much (correct) - He suffers from Cancer thus has a definite need for medical treatment (at least from time to time) -

He (and his top lieutenants are just as responsible as is Zarqawi for the continued terrorists actions within Iraq).
