I WAS impressed with Danica.....but then I saw the spread she did for the New York Post (I think it was that mag.) where she is dressed like a slut on the cover. I lost complete respect for her and wish she would set a better example for the young girls who watch her.

Exactly right. I really hate the fact that she is/has done all these tool calendar-like photo shoots. Jeepers, does EVERYTHING have to be hyper sexualized. What's the point. Can she not make it as a race car driver alone? Or is this all about marketing to make her into a big commodity? If it is, in my opinion she has chosen to degrade herself along the way to an otherwise respectable pursuit.

Would underwear ads be better? She is in motor sports, they may have contacted her for shots. She has as much or more clothes on than the SI swimsuit models.

We don't know why she did the shots. Do they sponsor her or the car in any way. I knew male and female strippers that did it for college money. Easy work, and fast money. We all know that sexuality sells. Maybe she signed contracts for these photo shoots before she signed on with Rahal. It could be that when the contract for the shoots end, she won't do them any more. We just don't know. It is sad to know that so many Freepers are so ready to condemn her without knowing all the facts. It's also sad to see so many bonafide male chauvanist pigs alive and well at FR.
