Well this excplains why he was passed over for the position. He had no problem selling out the country. All "spys" either did it for money or revenge for some slight they think they received. He fits the spy profile perfectly. Now he and his fam are going to try to cash in.

He was not alone. Most of the bureau's top officials did not like what Nixon did after Hoovers death, many quietly applauded when he went down, and I have little doubt Felt was assisted by others around him.

People do anything for money. From Neil Armstrong's barber selling a lock of his hair for $3,000 to others selling top secret intel for cash and jewels. Look at our own borders. It's all about money. Follow the money.
