As far as they're concerned, Ms. Nooyi's "apology" is satisfactory. They know many of us disgruntled GOP'ers will eventually come back to the farm and life will be good again.

Pepsi is actually one of the few boycotts I can participate in. My wife loves Diet Coke, but can't stand Pepsi. She'll go for tea if there is no Coke in an eatery. I could always live with Diet Pepsi, even though I prefer Diet Coke. No more. Now I just go for water or tea. I realize Coke executives probably feel the same way as this Nooyi lady, but at least they keep their pie holes shut about it.
