"The point I was making is clear: Republican policies have declared war on hardworking Americans," Dean said Friday. The actually statement he made has no relationship to his new explanation. None.
Conclusion: Dean is from Venus and Mars simultaneously, and is therefore incapable of communicating with himself.

Dean is definitely in the top five for MVP for the GOP so far in 2005.
MVP= Most Valuable Psycho.

I don't know, but if I were Hillary - well, if I were Hillary first I'd stab myself in the head repeatedly with a pair of chopsticks until the pain went away - but after that I'd really wonder if some vast unseen force just wanted to keep jerking me around for the sheer fun of it.
Note that the more Dean says things that gets your attention the less attention you pay to Hillary. Which is the idea because Dean is only doing what the powerful in the Democratic party have decided he is supposed to do. Dean is no out-of-control crazy man. He is a tool used to do a specific job for which he will be richly rewarded one way or another.

Well, the primates, I mean inmates of the DNC assylum are getting restless with him. I am just waiting for the 06 sweep by the GOP to see this guy get tossed. Not that I don't want him to stay...he is a hoot to watch.

Seriously, I think the reason Dean is there is that he appeals to the red-meat-eating "base," and the "base" of the Democrat Party is moving further and further to the loopy left. So, Dean keeps the base reved up, but he scares the bejeebers out of the middle, who actually decide elections. The Dems have a serious problem, and it's clear no one over there sees a way out of it.

It's simple. They wanted his email list of contributors.

Which is the idea because Dean is only doing what the powerful in the Democratic party have decided he is supposed to do. Dean is no out-of-control crazy man. He is a tool used to do a specific job for which he will be richly rewarded one way or another. That works when the front man can be dismissed as an unsanctioned loose cannon, like Michael Moore for instance. But the head of the DNC? Not so much.
That doesn't mean I think you're wrong in suspecting his act is a scripted setup. I tend to believe that a bit myself. I just think they may be miscalculating their ability to avoid collateral damage from such an official source.
To: Soul Seeker
Dean revealed a lot about his "thinking" when he popped off about people caring about "God, guns and gays." A lot of the dem ilk have contempt for people who work at real jobs. They prefer malleable crackheads and crank sluts...

Republican policies have declared war on hardworking Americans," Dean said Friday Put some ice on it, Dean.
One of the reasons I'm a Republican is precisely because I'm a hardworking American!
To: SmithL
National Democratic Chairman Howard Dean was defending another of his comments Friday after telling liberal activists a lot of Republicans "have never made an honest living in their lives."Oh, AP, you're so subtle. He does it so often that this one is just "another" one. Nothing to see here, move along, it's just "another" one. LOL
[Dean] "I will continue to criticize Republican leaders and their policies, and the Democratic Party will continue to offer constructive alternatives."
We're waiting Howie, we're waiting.
