I'm beginning to think Dean is a Karl Rove plant at the top of the DNC.

I'm not usually a conspiracy theorist, but it keeps getting harder to comprehend what the Dems were thinking when they named Dean chairman. It should have been a clue to them that they screwed up a bit when, upon announcing Dean as the new DNC head, the loudest cheers came from the Republicans.

I don't know, but if I were Hillary - well, if I were Hillary first I'd stab myself in the head repeatedly with a pair of chopsticks until the pain went away - but after that I'd really wonder if some vast unseen force just wanted to keep jerking me around for the sheer fun of it.

Note that the more Dean says things that gets your attention the less attention you pay to Hillary. Which is the idea because Dean is only doing what the powerful in the Democratic party have decided he is supposed to do. Dean is no out-of-control crazy man. He is a tool used to do a specific job for which he will be richly rewarded one way or another.

Dean is an errand boy, sent by grocery clerks to collect a bill......

Seriously, I think the reason Dean is there is that he appeals to the red-meat-eating "base," and the "base" of the Democrat Party is moving further and further to the loopy left. So, Dean keeps the base reved up, but he scares the bejeebers out of the middle, who actually decide elections. The Dems have a serious problem, and it's clear no one over there sees a way out of it.

It's simple. They wanted his email list of contributors.

The DEMS saw $ signs in appointing DEAN but forgot to bring along some cents/sense in the process.

He is a financial and political disaster of huge proportions. The money is not pouring in and Dean is insulting yet another constiuency group each and every new day her serves.

I hope Rove has good retirement benefits to offer Howie because his work is top drawer. He is accomplishing what so few could have done to undermine the RATS from within.

Seems to me that Dean is a Hillary plant. After he makes an absolute fool of himself with his mindless rantings, Hillary can walz in and look,... oh so moderate and reasonable.

Nothing happens in government or politics without some rational planning of the impacts, and possible outcomes, both short term and long term. And the Clintons are nothing if not PR schemers and planners.
