I used to live not too far from Blackstone Avenue, in perhaps the only stretch of that avenue not controlled by da Rangers/El Rukns (I don't think they had much interest in extorting U of C students).

Of course, the Gangsta Disciples kick everyones a-s out in Chi-town, whether El Rukns, the Latin Saints, or the Mexican Mafia.

NYC hasn't produced a cool "original" gang since the Fordham Baldies. ;-)
