For good reason, when a male officer on duty has to transport a female prisoner alone, before leaving, he calls his station, gives a departure time, and then is logged in when he arrived. Makes false accusations impossible. If he is innocent...as a cop, he should have known better than to put himself in that position..
This is awful. I hope the woman is lying.
The sad thing is that whether the allegation is true or not true, his life and that of his family now lies in ruin.
Does his "working a paid detail" mean that he was in uniform but working an outside job? Since he was driving his own pickup truck and not a police cruiser, would he or shoud he have had contact w/the police station either via radio or cell phone?
