You called? For all you California taxpayers, this is the section that should concern you the most.

Where have we heard this logic before? We'll only change it on this one thing [guns, tax, political speech, Prop 13] but we promise not to touch anything else.

They are only trying to pass this legislation to test the waters. If they can convince enough (2/3) to change prop 13 to only affect business, you will see residential property next.

I was predicting the death of Prop 13 in a decade. If this passes, I'll have to bump it up a few years.
