To: Little Bill

No, I don't live in Massachusetts, I live in the birthplace of Mardi Gras (not New Orleans) and you can be cited for simply speeding here, and thats how it should be.

Everyone knows that speeding makes them more likely to be in an accident, yet they do it anyway. The reason speeding tickets are given out is so we can identify insurance risks so that those of us who follow the law aren't penalized as much for the bad driving of the speeders.

Up here the surcharges are added to your Insurance Bill and some of the profits distributed to the Reps in the form of cash in small denominations. Up here everyone appeals a ticket, tickets are another tax on the misgoverned of this state.

To give you something to think about, State Police Troopers are expected to give out six tickets an hour on traffic detail, we ain't go no damned quotas.

Another shocker, BPO's are expected to give out ten violations a day or be on the bad list. The Danvers Police, started giving warnings in close "Judgment Calls" and cost the Town $250K in four months, it ain't about money is it?
