I will never, ever forget watching TV and the outpouring of people in California during President Reagans funeral. Tens of thousands coming to a stop on the freeways, and highways, exiting their cars, crowding over passes, and waving flags for many miles.

It was a sight to behold. That really hit me hard.

Reagan's funeral was the last time I wept. Watching that video put the lump back in my throat.

I have over 8 hours of video tape from the President's funeral proceedings. Both in CA and DC.

I will show it to my grandkids, if I ever have any, so they will know about great leadership and how American's respect great leaders.

If I don't have grandkids.....I'll show it to any kid who will listen.

Thanks for looking.

People forget ( or simply don't know, not having been old enough at the time ) just how gawd-awful things were in America before Mr. Reagan came along...
...just like a cowboy in the movies he starred in, he came riding out of the West to save us...

...Cubans in Angola ( and Central America, and Yemen, and elsewhere ) spreading Communism & revolution-
..."Malaise," and lines at gas pumps, and Gasahol-
...interest rates as high as 23% ( not a typo- do a web search )-
..."Nuclear Freeze," Soviet SS-20 missiles in the old ComBlock countries, and people ( the same Useful Dupes we see today screeching "exit plan," and "Boosh Lied, people Died! ) claiming we were on the wrong side of "history" and there was nothing anybody could do about it, so we had just better lay back & enjoy it...

It was a heady time to be alive, and be a Conservative activist, and a person who loved America, and Americans.

Do not be deceived-- without the three giants of those times-- Mr. Reagan, Maggie Thatcher, and the Pope- the world would have been a much less free, much more dangerous place today.

...and no, I am not kidding about my tagline- we were lucky yo survive the end of the last Century with our freedoms still largely intact- God knows, there was an army of cheats, con-men, and shills trying to steal them away from us. The battle continues...

Yeah.

I remember. I remember how awful Carter was. I was young...but I remember.

He had such a defeatist attitude. He always spoke about America like it was some lost cause.

AN EXAMPLE is seen in the movie Miracle. They show the coach driving home one night and listening to Carter's speech. And they play the audio of Carter.

Carter had such a..."we stink" tone in that speech.

REAGAN SAVED US!

We had our Founding Fathers, and then we had our Last Father, Ronald Reagan.

The GOP has gone hard left. All we have are the memories, and hopefully the spirit of the Founding Fathers and our Last Father to inspire us to fight to reclaim our once proud nation. The GOP no longer fights for us--it will be up to the decent people of this nation to reclaim the nation through a grassroots non-violent 2nd American Revolution.

Thank you, Lord, for giving us Ronald Reagan.

It may not be popular to say this, but I'm inclined to agree with you. We seem to be back to the days of the Stupid versus the Evil Party.
