I wasted my time and money on it this weekend and agree.

I saw it primarily as my obligation as an American to continual to fuel the local economy. It sucked. It really was a very long and painfully drawn out melodrama. Had Lucas stopped with the first three episodes, things would have been great. But the introduction of this sappy 'love story' just kills this storyline. It was about good vs. evil. It was never a love story.

I'm having a hard time understanding how liberals think that they are really sticking it to the GOP with this film though. The Dim's are the ones who love every dictator they find around the globe. This entire plot was based on the old soviet empire. Are the lib's suddenly disavowing their loyalty to the old Marxist ideals? Do they now suddenly agree with the GOP that the Soviet regime needed to be overthrown? Sorry, either I'm very confused or they are. Either way, its Lucas' fault now.

Ditto. After the movie my 12 year old daughter commented that even Alien vs. Predator was better.

Somehow I can't get excited about going to see this movie. Part of it is that I lost the storyline around the second movie.

I loved the first episode, which I guess was a middle episode or something, I can't keep track. I was a young adult, and the special effects of the movie were the best I had ever seen. I loved the scene in the bar, with all the strange creatures and the goofy music. Each one since has been a disappointment. I didn't even go see these last 2.

I find it laughable that Lucas has supposedly made the remarks about his intent for making the movies, and comparing this one to President Bush. I see it as hype for the movie.

I thought the opening was real cheesy! And the lizard moped has got to go!! CORNY! Other than that it was ok. Now we know why it came in third place this weekend!Lucas should have kept his trap SHUT as far as politics go!!

The first bootleg movie I ever watched and the price was right, $0.00 and I was a Star War fan.
