Another good conservative metal band is Iced Earth. They made an album a couple of years ago, "The Glorious Burden", where they wrote songs about different events in history, including a 3 part epic, "Gettysburg 1863".
Iced Earth are conservatives? Cool. They are my favorite Iron Maden ripoff band :)
