MK Tibi: Megiddo Prison Guards Desecrated Korans

A week after the US Defense Department acknowledged that guards at Guantanamo Bay Prison in Cuba defiled several Korans, MK Ahmad Tibi joined Palestinian security detainees and Muslim clerics protesting Tuesday claiming that prison guards at Megiddo Prison in the north defaced the holy book during a routine cell search.

Palestinian prisoners said that following a routine morning roll call, prison guards raided their cells and tents, brutally and violently turning over their belongings. While the guards found 81 cellular phones and 40 knives and other sharp objects during the search, the prisoners claimed the guards ripped up several Korans.

The claim is illogical!

I've watched a program on Court TV about how guards handle the ultra bad guys at some of the harshest prisons in America. When they make a cell search .. they are looking in things and under things - and I've never seen any of them take the time to TEAR UP anything.

So .. the charge is bogus .. and we also know that because we know these people are TRAINED TO CHARGE ABUSE in order to get the bleeding heart liberals on their side.

exactly and get this, the Koran actually prohibits the attacking of any religious building, whether a mosque or synagogue or church, even in time of war and esp when people are worshipping inside but that sure hasn't stopped Al Queda and Al Zarqawi and friends........

When my son was doing IDF checkpoint duty in the West Bank, he was not allowed to confiscate korans but he did remove and confiscate Hamas-themed koran covers.

I have a good idea - how about a website where people come up with creative ways to desecrate Korans and upload the pictures?

Here's a few ideas:

1) Skeet Koran... PULL!

2) Out of toilet paper... What to use, what to use?

3) Roll a cigarette or adult smokable substance of choice.

4) Birdcage needs to be relined...

5) 10001 Arabian nights to kill? 1001 Arabian paper airplanes to fold!
