Dad used to take Gma to her favorite restaurant for fried fish. And once while he walked away from the table to get salt or a spoon or a napkin or whatever, he came back to the tabke and Gma was eating the paper napkin. It affected Dad immensely. He quit taking her out.
Now he hires a nurse to go with him when he takes gma out, and she will eat all three pieces of fried fish, sans napkin.
Very good observation. Thanks for posting. The fact that the topic of killing our elders because of money is even being discussed is evidence of what a sad selfish state we are in.
