Yukos (it was one clumsy PR effort) was hit for 10 years of back taxes not for having been sold to cheap (which it was, 1 billion in assets for $200,000 that was never paid). Yushchenko and Tomoshenko weren't going after taxes, according to Yushchenko he wants to resell them to get more cash (which is wrong enough, sales tend to be final, even for the Russian oligarchs), Tymoshenko wants flat out nationalization (SOCIALISM NON PAR).
