Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah......

It's far simpler than that. Women have control over the number of children they have for the first time in history. It turns out that given the choice, most don't want to go through more than one or two pregnancies in their life, and many don't want even that.

I think that may change in time as women come to realize that one or two children are not enough to ensure they are cared for in their old age. Stories of mistreatment of old people will become common as baby boomer's begin to hit 70+ years of age. Their selfish and narcissistic lifestyle will come back and bite them in the butt. It would be funny that they will have to rely on care from the children of third world emigrants, if it weren't so sad.

I think the lessons will be clear for their children and grandchildren though. Have kids, the more the better!

Easy to say. Families will have as many or as few children as they want and rely on everyone else to make up the difference. It's a little like voting. Many people don't bother to vote because they figure their vote its just one out of millions so it won't really make a difference.
