West Coast investors have negotiated a letter of intent to purchase a majority interest in the Penguins.
Mario Lemieux, the hockey team's primary owner since it emerged from bankruptcy in 1999, will hold onto a reduced share of the franchise. Most, if not all, of the Penguins' other local investors are expected to do likewise

no way - Kennywood is still around?? I didn't think there were too many of those old parks left that hadn't been bought out by the mega theme parks.

Kennywood is still going strong. One of the cool things I love about Pittsburgh (I am a transplant) is the fact that 10 minutes from downtown is a hardcore spend-all-day amusement park.
That and Primanti's, which I stare at from my window all day long...
