There was the typical drugy argument that alcohol and pot are similar.

They are not

Sure they are ... they are both "drugs with dangerous consequences," which was your stated criterion for banning.

the drug pot which you worship

What a contemptible lie.

MrLeRoy, I think if we were a land where tobacco was never introduced and we all knew about all the cancer deaths it causes, I would think we'd have far less smokers around by choice.
I think there are quite a few smokers if given the choice now, who would love to go back and to never have gotten into smoking.

I think the same thing goes for addicted alcoholics and most recreational illegal drug users who have ruined the potential of their lives.

The problem with alcohol was it was already LEGAL for a time when we wanted to remove it and it had already become part of the society.
In the case of pot and other illegal recreational drugs, it has never been Federally legal. It has always had the stigma of being for reprobates of society. The unwashed FM hippie types with no life who have to live off of others or welfare to support their druggie lives.
What we NEVER want to do is to put any illegal drugs into the position we put alcohol in.

The absolute truth.

You are a pro illegal drug activist here on FR to probably disrupt and corrupt conservatives and I can show evidence leaning toward my view of you.

I invite all here at FR to do a search of previous posts by Know your rights/MrLeRoy and see the OBSESSION with almost exclusively the topic of ONLY legalizing recreational drugs. You so OUT yourself by just looking at your record of posts, that it is as transparent as glass.

At least if you check my or other regular people at FR, we post all over the place and even feature conservative defense of subject matter.
I can duplicate your views here on FR by simply linking to the druggies over at DU.

I urge all lurkers to go investigate what I've just said and see what I'm talking about.

You will find absolute obsession of drug legalization. That is not a conservative mindset IMO.

He's ruling in the minority, ignoring stare decisis, inventing "facts", ignoring the Necessary and Proper Clause ... naw, he's no activist judge.

You don't think he's an activist judge only because he decided in your favor.

"We now have our federal government ruling as though they fear harm to the MJ industry if some citizens grow their own."

No. Congress is using the power given to them by the Necessary and Proper Clause to write laws which would prohibit citizens from interfering with their constitutional regulation of the interstate commerce of drugs.

well, i probably shouldn't say anything, but my wife of 34+ years is in very bad health and a couple of joints a day makes her life bearable.

I tried the stuff 3 times in Nam and didn't like it and haven't messed with it since. It makes her feel better and i make sure she has it so she can have a happier day.

No, she is NOT an old hippy pothead. She is an unfortunate lady with very bad health and as long as it makes her feel like getting out of bed in the morning, screw the goobermint..i'll just be a law breaker!!!

I don't have a problem with medical marijuana use. I hope your wife's health improves. Be careful from whom you get the marijuana, though!

I get it from me!!!!! was raised on a farm and still have some land in the country...doesn't take but a very few plants to so supply her and it is grown on timber comapny land adjacent to mine.

3 or 4 plants scattered 100 yds apart and not raked and hoed and watered every day or two arouses no suspicion even if found, but where i live in Louisiana, it is really easy to disguise a small amount.

Like i said, I probably should not have said anything, but screw 'em..they don't mind prescribing $100.00 - 200.00 prescriptions that we can't afford..just like country folk have always done, we get by the best way we can.

Screw the goobermint...When people like ted (the swimmer) kennedy, hildabeast klintoon et al can decide what is in our best interest, it is amazing that we don't all stayed "fried" all the time.

These drugs never crossed a state line, nor did the wheat in the case cited. There was no buying or selling of any kind involved. Nothing changed hands. In this use of the concept of "commerce", our federal government could make masterbation illegal. The need to regulate sperm banks would make it the federal government's business.

One in three American adults has used marijuana; you're not getting that toothpaste back in the tube either. The bottom line is that marijuana prohibition, like alcohol prohibition before it, is creating more problems than it solves.

pot and other illegal recreational drugs, it has never been Federally legal

Quite wrong; prior to 1937 or so, marijuana was not against any federal law, and the same goes for cocaine and opiates prior to about 1914.

A plant grew wild in the front yard of a house one of my sons lived in. This was in the city. No one living in the house knew about or noticed the plant. They found out about it, right after it disappeared the police showed up with a warrant to search their house for it. The police were disappointed to find nothing.

Anyway, be careful when you harvest.

the OBSESSION with almost exclusively the topic of ONLY legalizing recreational drugs.

Even if true, obsession with legalizing something does not equal worshipping it. If someone posted exclusively on the right to keep and bear arms, would you say he "worshipped" guns? Retract your odious lie, or continue to embrace the Father of Lies; it's your call.

That's evidence of activism? That may be the stupidest thing you've ever posted, bobby ... and that's saying something.

The death dealers who provide the drugs to the youth are the problems. Enforcement is a good thing.

That has no relevance to anything I posted. Care to try again?

Your track record of posts says it all IMO.

I think they speak perfectly regarding you.

ILLEGAL DRUGS * Drugs * More Drugs * Ain't Drugs Grand * Legalize the Illegal * Pot * Marijuana * ILLEGAL DRUGS * Drugs * More Drugs * Ain't Drugs Grand * Legalize the Illegal * Pot * Marijuana * ILLEGAL DRUGS * Drugs * More Drugs * Ain't Drugs Grand * Legalize the Illegal * Pot * Marijuana * ILLEGAL DRUGS * Drugs * More Drugs * Ain't Drugs Grand * Legalize the Illegal * Pot * Marijuana * ILLEGAL DRUGS * Drugs * More Drugs * Ain't Drugs Grand * Legalize the Illegal * Pot * Marijuana * ILLEGAL DRUGS * Drugs * More Drugs * Ain't Drugs Grand * Legalize the Illegal * Pot * Marijuana * ILLEGAL DRUGS * Drugs * More Drugs * Ain't Drugs Grand * Legalize the Illegal * Pot * Marijuana * ILLEGAL DRUGS * Drugs * More Drugs * Ain't Drugs Grand * Legalize the Illegal * Pot * Marijuana * ILLEGAL DRUGS * Drugs * More Drugs * Ain't Drugs Grand * Legalize the Illegal * Pot * Marijuana * ILLEGAL DRUGS * Drugs * More Drugs * Ain't Drugs Grand * Legalize the Illegal * Pot * Marijuana * ILLEGAL DRUGS * Drugs * More Drugs * Ain't Drugs Grand * Legalize the Illegal * Pot * Marijuana * ILLEGAL DRUGS * Drugs * More Drugs * Ain't Drugs Grand * Legalize the Illegal * Pot * Marijuana * ILLEGAL DRUGS * Drugs * More Drugs * Ain't Drugs Grand * Legalize the Illegal * Pot * Marijuana * ILLEGAL DRUGS * Drugs * More Drugs * Ain't Drugs Grand * Legalize the Illegal * Pot * Marijuana * ILLEGAL DRUGS * Drugs * More Drugs * Ain't Drugs Grand * Legalize the Illegal * Pot * Marijuana * ILLEGAL DRUGS * Drugs * More Drugs * Ain't Drugs Grand * Legalize the Illegal * Pot * Marijuana

Sure Mr LeRoy, the ones getting the drugs to the 1 out of 3 youths you speak of should come to a bad end so the next generation goes to a lot lower number.
It's not good to F-up future generations of Americans like that with drugs at all. I'm sure the people doing that put a huge smile on Satan's and many communist's faces. They both would love to see America ruined.

I don't necessarily acknowledge your number, but I would improved on ANY future number by putting the dealers, growers and distributors away and confiscating all the wealth they accumulated in life.

If anyone associated with this riff raff enabled them, allow their assets to be at risk as well.

You don't end bad behavior by allowing it to go on with a blessing. A blessing will only grow the bad behavior.

"People need to make good choices in life."

And it needs to be A CA Guy who shall be the supreme master determining what constitutes a good or bad choice.

yessir...but you see, i grew up in them woods...i know more in and out trails than daniel boone, davy crockett and kit carson all put together...I am also a nam vet and have spent some time in the "woods"..i know recon!!!

ain't saying i can't be caught, but a secret is only a secret if you don't tell anyone and i prolly should not have said anything here, but it is a dead end dirt road and no one can just drive up unannounced and there are too many snakes and other "creep arounds" to just walk thru the woods to observe someone....it being at least 1/2 to 3/4 mile thru some pretty thick stuff and the place is not called "copperhead cove" without a reason.
