Attack shakes up the lives of day laborers (Illegals)in canyons (MSM spin Alert)
San Diego Union ^ | June 11, 2005 | Elena Gaona

Posted on 06/11/2005 6:43:58 AM PDT by Ramonan

A police sketch of a stocky man has become an unwelcome part of daily life here for scores of immigrant day laborers who live in the canyons.

Look," said one Oaxacan immigrant. "This guy messed it up for all of us. We're all really angry at him." He pulled a copy of the sketch from his pocket, unfolded it and pointed to a husky Latino man, about 5 feet 6, in his early to mid-30s, with cropped hair, who is wanted for possible rape.

Police say they believe the man in the picture, possibly a day laborer (Illegal), sexually assaulted a 25-year-old woman near Mercy Road and Black Mountain Road about 2:45 a.m May 31.

Police have handed out fliers with the sketch of the assailant and searched for clues on foot and horseback.

They have canvassed the street corner where scores of day laborers (Illegals)look for work each morning; the community park where they ride their bikes, gather to wait for rides or eat lunch; and the dozens of tiny shacks that make up the camps where they live deep in Peñasquitos Canyon Preserve.

Some Rancho Peñasquitos residents were already bothered by the presence of unfamiliar men on the street and in public places such as the park. They maintain that the men are in the country illegally, damage the open spaces where they live in shack homes.

About a dozen residents interviewed at Canyonside Community Park this week said they don't fear the men who come there to find work, and that the attack was by an individual. But others are demanding that police clear the camps, and have posted signs in Spanish telling those living in the canyons that they are not welcome and that Border Patrol will be called if they are spotted.

The area is a "Nature Reserve". It is supposed to "Ecologically sensitive". These illegals form camps here, dump garbage, go in the bushes, and yet the Enviro-Wackos say nothing. You can see the reporter's glaring bias.

Perhaps we should sell it off for development.

"They maintain that the men are in the country illegally..."

"Maintain"? The reporter presents the simple truth as if it were an opinion. When the media so blatantly pushes a progressive agenda, it cannot be on the side of the people.

What about illegals messing up our country? Oh, never mind we don't have a say.

I used to live not far from there, in Poway. When 56 was still a dirt road that ran out to Evergreen Nursery, you would see hundreds of those guys out there.

Some of the "camps" are pretty elaborate. They're like those little towns in a Clint Eastwood movie. They have saloons, bordellos, all the comforts of home.

This 'park' clearly has rules against 'overnight camping'. But the illegals live here? So, the gov't turns away and ignores this? But I am sure they would be all over me if I brought my tent in there. So, what I need to do to camp in this park and NOT get harassed is to bring cardboard and plywood and dirty clothes and then it's OK. Sheesh ...

Elena Gaona was born in Dallas at Parkland Hospital, the same public hospital where President John F. Kennedy was taken after he was shot. She works as a reporter covering local government and Latino affairs for the San Diego Union-Tribune. Previously, she was a reporter for the Daily Press in Virginia, the Los Angeles Times, and the Los Angeles-based Spanish-language newspaper La Opinion. Her first job was as a community reporter covering Latino affairs for La Fuente, a bilingual magazine produced by the Dallas Morning News.

They don't ignore it, exactly. They keep tabs on it. Officially, they are known as the "non-urban homeless." The last report I saw (about 2001) estimated that there are about 7,500 people living in the canyons of San Diego County.

They could toss 'em back over the fence, but you and I both know they'd be back the next week. It's cheaper to just leave them in place. Compared to the "urban homeless," they make very few demands on the social-service system. The County would just as soon keep it that way.

The guy who pulled this stunt had better hope the cops find him before the Mexicans do. Don't forget that part of 'macho' is protecting women. Mexicans are not cool with rape.

This is a big story on talk radio in San Diego, but the socialist San Diego Union Tribune has ignored it until now.

We have virtual illegal alien "Hoovervilles" scattered in canyons throughout our county. "Canyons" in this case means the brushy green space valleys between incredibly expensive subdivisions.

So hidden down between $600,000 dollar homes ($300,000 anywhere else but Cali) we have thousands of "migrants" camping out, making cooking fires, defecating, etc.

Sometimes the illegals have the nerve to run water hoses from fire hydrants down to their "camps."

One more sign of the coming CW2: hostile illegal alien enclaves, totally hushed up and ignored by the powers-that-be, depite the screaming and pleading of their so-called constituents.

One of the larges home building companies in the country (Pardee Homes) is directly implicated: they have "Hoovervilles" for illegals on undeveloped Pardee Home land. They pretend that they don't know that their subcontractors are all using illegal alien labor, which is camping out on Pardee Homes land!!

And the police, Border Patrol, ICE etc all give nothing but excuses for why they can't so much as ask these illegals if they are citizens.

I wonder how much Pardee Homes is "donating" to local politicians, to maintain their slave-labor camps?

America, this is our future if we don't grasp the nettle.

U.S. Constitution Article 4 Section 4:

"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government,

and shall protect each of them against Invasion;"

Invasion: \In*va"sion\, n. [L. invasio: cf. F. invasion. See Invade.] [1913 Webster]

1. The act of invading; the act of encroaching upon the rights or possessions of another; encroachment; trespass.

This is our future, Americans, if we allow our so-called leaders to import millions of illegal alien slave-laborers.

Do you want to live in a "Hooverville" to be able to compete on a cost-basis with illegal alien slave labors?

And our local police, government, ICE, Border Patrol etc all swear with straight faces that "there is nothing they can do" to get rid of these illegal alien slave-labor Hoovervilles.

HUMMMMM I wonder what the answer would be?

Dealing with our own similar problems cited in the story from crime to environmental destruction and an EnviroTALIBAN that's always suing the community I can tell you that it will be the same reply we get when we ask ---crickets chirping----

This company keeps its illegal alien slave-laborers in Hoovervilles on Pardee land.

You want to compete with them, on a wage-basis, you'll have to "cut your family overhead" and live in a Hooverville yourself.

Remember when American carpenters could afford nice homes themselves?

Illegal aliens - just raping the women Americans aren't willing to rape.

Seal the borders. Deport the illegals. Now.

"Remember when American carpenters could afford nice homes themselves?"

Exactly. A country has more to offer than money. A country has its own standard of living. When polluting that standard with another country's standard, things get out of whack. A carpenter used to be able to live a middle class life, but, due to the influx of illegal labor, the wages went from $20+/hour to $8/hour.
