Another possibility for the future and an additional reason not to kill babies for stem cell research.

I had just read about ESPN dropping the NHL from their schedule when I read the headline to this thread and thought the NHL was donating all the lost teeth hockey players lose during the season for stem cell research. LOL!

I've just recently learned about umbilical cord blood for stem cells. I don't have a lot of knowledge, but this seems to be a no-brainer. There's no loss of life or any question of medical danger for the mother. Why wouldn't all women do this, the process takes around two minutes and is painless.
