this is hype for a book. I wish it were true, but no one's been able to crack the crimes of Hillary and Bill -- yet.

The surfacing of her college thesis. It's supposed to be a real doosey. She lauds socialism & communism. It exposes the real Hillary. Rush has seen it and said it is a real eye opener.

She would slough that off as youthful idealism and indescretion, say she no longer believes that (wink), and it would not slow her down a bit. The information about Hillary is available. Getting the MSM to report it rather than to hid, then explain it, then forgive it, is the problem.

I'd say that we can do it again to unmask this woman! To quote a great American patriot (who, I've forgotten), "Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country!"

POLITICAL EDUCATION begins at the grass roots level. Exposing Hillary Clinton's Hitler-like obsessive POWER LUST requires factual knowledge within historical context. Hillary advocates a One World Government. Is a OWG scary? Why? What are the fallacies of (Hillary's ideological fixation) on socialism for solutions?

Be armed with rebuttal strategy, wrath is not enough. Wrath ends up in name calling ala Dr. Demento Dean.

The RAT bashing after a certain level does nothing. Yes, we should expose the RATs for their lunacy and anti-American activities, but not to the volume we do, such as Sean Hannity (and even Rush) who spends 99% of his time RAT bashing and does not hold the people nor the Republicans acountable.

Ignorant people are the problem. I believe we should bring to the attention of the masses how ignorant they are--they may do a self-assessment and realize they have been morons, and may wise up a bit before it is too late.

The same goes for the spineless Republican'ts. Expose them for the traitors to conservative principles, show high levels of wrath and outrage, and this will do FAR more to advance conservative priciples than acting like Sean Hannity with his one-track RAT bashing routine.

In order of the root of the problem:

1] Ignorant masses of Americans (including apathetic "Republicans),

2] Spineless Republicans who are driving left at Warp Factor 9

3] The RATs. THe RATs are not the #1 problem since it is the wimps in the GOP "leadership" and the moronic voters of this nation have allowed the RATs to be what they are.

Be realistic. Why spend 99% of the time bashing RATs if they are just problem #3? We need to expose problems #1 and #2 if we want to make progress.

I've said before and I'll repeat it again, Hillary cannot win a presidential election, not gonna happen. She cannot win one single Red State, and she will probably lose several Blue States (ME, NH, MN, WS, OR). Bob Novak wrote a column recently describing his conversations with a group of dedicated California liberal dems, and by almost 10-1 they told him they did not want Hillary to be their candidate in 08 because they feel she cannot win. According to Novak their favorite candidates are Mark Warner of Virginia and Evan Bayh of Indiana. Hillary is truly the most polarizing figure in American politics today, and if Christian Conservatives voted in large numbers last year, no one will be able to count their massive numbers in 08 if Miss Hillary is the rats' nominee. The best she can possibly hope for is the VP nod, or a cabinet seat if the rats win the WH.

Strike two: Excerpt of new anti-Hillary book filled with factual errors, misleading claims, very little context

The July 2005 issue of Vanity Fair contains an excerpt from the forthcoming The Truth About Hillary: What She Knew, When She Knew It, and How Far She'll Go to Become President (Sentinel, June 2005), a book-length attack on Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY) written by Edward Klein with the stated intent of inflicting electoral damage on her. But a review of the error-ridden excerpt in Vanity Fair suggests the book may inflict more damage on its author, publisher, Vanity Fair, and other news organizations that take it seriously than on Clinton. The first verifiable claim reportedly from the book turned out to be false; a Mail on Sunday article showed that Klein is peddling gay-baiting sexual innuendo and gossip; now, the Vanity Fair excerpt reveals the book to be a sloppily researched, factually challenged hit piece that merely recycles long-debunked and dismissed criticism of Clinton.

Perhaps the most sensational allegation against Clinton in the Vanity Fair excerpt is Klein's claim that she "suddenly turned up a long-lost" Jewish relative in response to furor over her controversial embrace of Suha Arafat. Klein portrayed the incident as an example of Clinton's supposed opportunism and pandering:

When Hillary made the obligatory trip to Israel to win Jewish votes back home, she went to the Palestinian-controlled city of Ramallah. There she appeared onstage with Yasser Arafat's wife, Suha, who made the outrageous charge that Israel was poisoning Palestinian women and children with toxic gas. At the end of Mrs. Arafat's speech, Hillary marched to the podium and gave Suha Arafat a big hug and kiss. The photo of the two women kissing, which was played around the world, sowed serious doubts about Hillary in the minds of many Jewish voters.

When Hillary realized that she had gotten herself in a jam with Jewish voters, she suddenly turned up a long-lost Jewish step grandfather -- an announcement that was dismissed by many cynical New York voters as an example of her pandering.

But Klein, trying to portray Clinton as a political opportunist, got the facts completely wrong: News of Clinton's Jewish step-grandfather came long before the Suha Arafat incident, as even a cursory check of the facts would have quickly revealed. The story about Clinton's Jewish family members received extensive media coverage in August 1999, three months before the November 1999 incident with Arafat:

• Washington Post, 8/7/99: "Her audience seemed to have little interest in the two media obsessions surrounding the first lady -- her recent remarks on her husband's infidelities, and the fact that her step-grandfather turns out to have been Jewish. (Headline in the New York Post: 'Oy Vey!')"
• Rita Cosby, Fox News, 8/5/99: "Another surprise from the first lady. As she campaigns in New York, she tells a Jewish newspaper that her step-grandfather, Max Rosenberg, was Jewish."

funny thing though I ran into some staunch Democrats based in Florida in New York City (there were a Christian couple, church was an important part of their lives and admitted Bush haters, they hate Jeb as well - gee I should have asked them about how they square their Christianity with hating politicians but I digress)

I challenged them about Kerry and they said, Look, we weren't crazy about Kerry but we hate Bush and the husband said, you know the phrase lesser of two evils to us Bush was the worst of all evils

so then I said so what do you think of the fact that many in your party are touting Hillary as the saviour of the DNC

they looked at me as if I'd just said GW Bush

and I said, what did I say, and they replied, quite vigourously that they hate Hillary and she's not getting the 2008 nomination

and I said, you better talk to the rest of the people in your party, I've read about 10 articles this week all praising Hillary and about how she was going to save the party (I didn't mention all the polls that say Hillary is most popular amongst all voters including Dems)

now I wished I had an opportunity to explore that - was it be because they are Southern Democrats or Christians or both, that they despised Hillary so or were they just part of the moonbat wing of the party and yet they didn't otherwise strike me as that wing of the party....they were clearly working in fields that were negatively affected by Bush policies, Jeb and George, however....

I only say John Edwards, who up to now seems a lightweight because if you read some of the behind the scenes comments of Edwards at the time of the campaign and some of his comments since, I think he's snarkier and savvier than he appears...and more ambitious than even Kerry....

***Good argument. I agree with your assessment "apathetic Republicans" as well as apathetic and distracted citizens in general. I'd also say, not "ignorant" citizens, but rather complacent misinformed citizens who rely on the MEDIA. Attack and expose the MEDIA because it is an agent of the Leftists' agenda.

The MEDIA enables. Notice how Hillary refers to Republicans/conservatives only in terms of being "radical" or "the far rightwing conspiracy"? Whereas the truth of the matter is that mainstream middle America is under siege by RADICAL leftist factions: the Soros-possessed Democrat party, racism and homophobia mongers, and the communist ACLU.

Pres. Bush has given Hillary a prime issue on a silver platter: illegal infiltrators and open borders with tremendous ensuing problems of both economic depletion and terrorism potential.

If Hillary screeches for taking the U.S. military forces out of Iraq and have them monitor our northern and southern borders, she can win on that issue alone.

Conservatives and Republicans need NEW BLOOD - articulate and committed statesmen. Democrats are bully-brats and the Republicans just take it.
