She is sitting down with the 'Runaway Bride' Jennifer Wilbanks, and her fiancee John Mason, for an exclusive primetime interview June 21.
Parts of this interview will air on Tuesday and Wednesday's 'Today' show.
Why Katie? An emailer asks and answers: 'NBC was instrumental in getting the book deal done for the bride that wasn't.'

Man, I haven't seen Katie Koran in ages. Actually I was talking about the crazy bride - why on earth would anyone care about this? Is that all you have to do in America is break some law and act like a nut and you can make millions and be on TV? What's the incentive to behave? We should bring back the stocks for this gal and Katie.

I suppose this carves into the same demographic that also watches Fear Factor and Queer Eye. The factoid mentality with an attention span just short of the duration of a commercial break.
