On Coast to Coast with George Nourey (sp?), an earthquake predictor is saying there will be a California earthquake on about June 22.
He is discussing a convergence of the summer solstice and closeness of the moon. If not totally believable that someone can predict earthquakes, it is at least an interest discussion.
Has he made any predictions on the size?
There is no doubt that there will be an earthquake in California on or about June 22. In fact, I predict there'll be several. ;^)
Dude, its the same show that thinks aliens live inside mountains in New Mexico.
The same show, where an esteemed remote viewer said, that with 100% accuracy, that once we started the war in Iraq, North Korea would absolutely detonate a nuke under the no man's zone on the border, he was 100% accurate.
A few months after the war he claimed that he was misquoted......LOL
Did this earthquake predictor predict the 7.0 up north by chance?
Anyone up for a survey of animal shelters to see how the critters were acting prior to the event? If animals start being wierd on the 22nd, that COULD be reason to worry.
I predict there will be a large earthquake off the coast a couple of hours ago.
I'm actually trying to get some writing done while I FReep so I didn't listen to closely.
There is nothing else on at this time, and I don't watch TV.
Berkland's predictions are worthless.
He makes a huge number of predictions encompassing huge magnitude ranges and land areas, such that he's guaranteed to get "hits." He then emphasizes those and ignores the many misses.
However, he has a large poorly-educated fanbase that has no comprehension of statistics or usual earthquake frequency and thus eagerly laps up his predictions.
So:)
Then turn off the radio and read a book.
Coast to coast is fun, but its all BS.
Better to listen to Phil Hendrie, all his guests are fake and proud of it!
No, but he was spot-on with his prediction of snow at the North Pole.
actually it is reptile aliens under the denver airport.
Berkland has a fairly plausible theory that involves checking tide tables and missing pet reports, but even he admits it's all about probabilities and not at all 100% accurate.
I love the predictions on coast to coast, always wrong. I remember the guys saying that we would all have gas masks by 1970, and that CA would sink by 1980, and that we would all die by 90, and of course the great folks warning us (and selling us $tuff) that Y2K would kill us.
Coast to Coast is like pro wrestling, entertaining, but utter BS.
Reptile sightings are David Icke's thing, he thinks that reptiles run our government, etc.
He is fun to listen to, very unbalanced.
Ed McMahon is the antichrist. I have proof.
Not a big Nourey fan but I'm tuned into this.
Wow, he figured there could be snow in the North Pole?
That is amazing, maybe he also was the one on radio that predicted that lots of rain could cause some flooding.
