First thing I did on release yesterday was to have daughterofTGSL call in an order for a BIG cheesesteak. It didn't last long at all. mmmmmm....PIZZA!

To everyone in the DC area:If there's any way at all for you to head down to Lafayette Park to counter-protest these idiots, please do so - ASAP!
Sauropod just stopped by to pick up people and equipment, after two hours in his car. We need people down there to stand up to all the lies being spewed by the traitors now speaking on Capitol Hill.
At 4:45pm, I posted on the "Live Hearing" thread:
Kristinn and Sauropod have entered Lafayette Park. No hordes of lefties to greet them. They see someone bringing in a podium for the "distinguished speakers" to rant from. No stage visible. Veterans for Peace flag visible, small speaker set up, a couple dozen people. Still don't see a stage.... More as it becomes available from the scene at Lafayette Park.

SKY News just filmed Freepers, and a bunch of school kids, holding Freeper signs - kids chanting "George Bush rules!"
So far radio interviews with Fox Radio News and another one I just forgot (CRS).
Latest from scene... nine Freepers vs. five hundred lefties.
Interviews with local TV Channel 7 and SKY News and Fox News radio.
Trueblackman is on hold with Mark Levin's radio show....

This just in from Kristinn, on-scene:"When invited to come over and speak with an Iraqi and tell him why he should not have been liberated from Saddam Hussein's reign of terror by George Bush, John Conyers declined and kept walking, Maxine Waters gave us the 'talk to the hand' signal, and then she shook her booty at Nofel."
" The interesting thing is that Sheila Jackson-Lee accepted the offer and invited Nofel to walk with her back to her car because she said she had an important vote to get back to. Nofel went off with her (he is back safe with the DC Chapter now) and Sauropod went with them, to film the conversation. More later. The rally has ended."
