Churches who have gay priests and bishops, and who marry gay couples, and Christians are leaving. You don't say, what a shock.

I know the feeling. I visited a LCMS congregation last Sunday. I'll probably go back.

When the Episcopal Church values left me, I left organized religion and now attend other denominations rather randomly.

As quoted in Exodus, Glenmary director Ken Sanchagrin told the New York Times that he was "astounded to see that by and large the growing churches are those that we ordinarily call conservative. And when I looked at those that were declining, most were moderate or liberal churches. And the more liberal the denomination, by most people's definition, the more they were losing."

Hmm. People seeking God's Truth abandoning churches that seek man's Truth. Gee, what a shocker!

My wife started going to a christian fellowship some years ago. They started out as a store front in a dying mall and today they've bought the mall and have expanded to >5000 members. Christmas and Easter services are either held at the college sports arena or at the sanctuary over several days.

There's nothing more boring than a service at a liberal church. Give me hellfire and brimstone! Given the choices between not going to church at all or attending one of those, I'll sleep in on Sunday morning.

Great. Now I suppose we'll have to subsidize them.

The far left that has taken over the Democrat Party is driving millions of Americans away from all things Liberal. Their latest sympathy being shown to the Terrorists being held at GITMO is by far the most outrageous Crusade they have undertaken so far. "Club GITMO" is a 150 Million Dollar facility that provides more religious material to the detainees there, than all of our Public Schools in this country COMBINED

The prisoners in GITMO are fed better than our troops in Iraq, and they are housed better. The Democrats are going to regret what they are doing to this country over their inability to accept the fact the the American people have decided that they do not deserve to be in the majority through their votes.

The Democrats are going to spend the next few decades in a complete free fall unless they adopt policies that support America instead of our enemies.

When you walk into a liberal church (and I've walked into many) it doesn't take more than a few minutes to detect the absence of God. People wind up leaving such churches with an empty feeling, so there is nothing to draw them back.

>>> "One of Shiflett's interviewees was the Reverend Bruce Gray, Rector of St. John's Episcopal Church in Richmond, Virginia. In an interesting comment, Shiflett recalls that this was the very church where Patrick Henry gave his famous speech in 1775--the speech in which Henry cried: "Give me liberty, or give me death!" ...In order to understand why so many Episcopalians are leaving, Shiflett visited Hugo Blankenship, Jr., son of the Reverend Hugo Blankenship, who had served as the church's Bishop of Cuba. Blankenship is a traditionalist, who explained that his father must be "spinning in his grave" in light of developments in his beloved Episcopal Church." <<<

"The conservative Presbyterian Church in America [PCA] grew 42.4 percent in the same decade that the more liberal Presbyterian denomination lost 11.6 percent of its members."

Yep.....OUR PCA is GROWING and GROWING....lots of families, with lots of new babies and young ones.....many of whom sit through 1.25 - 1.5 hour Church services that are about SERVING the Lord, NOT being SERVED (catered to) by the Lord.

A NEW EXODUS? AMERICANS ARE EXITING LIBERAL CHRUCHES:

Shouldn't you spell the last word C-H-U-R-C-H-E-S instead of C-H-R-U-C-H-E-S?

Full Disclosure: Unless you really meant to spell "crutches" :-)

Cheers!

2nd Disclosure: Did they forget to use spell checkers?
