Yep. There's been a lot of conservative constituents writing letters and making phone calls registering disgust with McCain.
The constituents speaking out is the only way anything will change. One side-effect of the thorough destruction of the medias credibility is that the only believable source of public opinion are individual initiatives--polls, internet "polls" and mass-mailings are just as full of it as CBS. But when real live people call and leave their names and numbers...it could lead to a whole new era of accountability, or at least of responsive representation.
