The belief that AIDS is poised to break out widely among non-drug-abusing heterosexuals is a myth created by the media and public health officials, charges Fumento. This former AIDS analyst for the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights contends that estimates of the number of infected people, and of the risks to heterosexuals, have been grossly exaggerated, arguing further that the epidemic appears to be peaking. According to Fumento, two groups have fueled the alarmist myth: prudish conservative moralists and liberal "democratizers" eager to demonstrate that AIDS is not a "gay plague." His allegation that AIDS research has drained funds from the fight against cancer will outrage activists who want more federal dollars spent on AIDS. Among this polemic's more controversial or startling contentions is the assertion that the incidence of AIDS in Africa has been greatly overstated, and the claim that bisexuality among U.S. blacks and Hispanics, far more than that among whites, has played a major role in AIDS transmission.

Please note: That homosexual men come from one of the highest educated strata in our society. So the problem is not a lack of education. I am wondering why the government has seat belt laws and helmet laws to protect the lives of drivers. But does not require that that a high risk group like Homosexuals to not have sexual contact. Their behavior is no different than someone with hepatitis working in a restuarant. Actually, the guy with hepatitis is probably less of a risk to the public than what goes on in the public clubs of the castro district.

Heterosexual AIDS epidemic a 'false medical panic women cannot transmit AIDS to male partners.'

You know change is in the air when a staunchly orthodox AIDS magazine like POZ runs a feature article on 'the myth of heterosexual AIDS.'

The October 2001 cover story 'We've Got the Juice,' begins with this intriguing lead paragraph: 'These women thought they had killer vaginas. Then they learned girls don't give guys AIDS. Now they're sticking it to the officials and advocates who made the myth of heterosexual AIDS,' and goes on from there into a surprising, sometimes bizarre, expose of sorts. Here are a few interesting quotes :'

If we are talking about a heterosexual AIDS epidemic, transmission efficiency would have to go both ways. It doesn't. It stops with a woman and will not cause an epidemic. Plenty of people have known and denied this from the beginning. It all started as a way for AIDS advocates to raise funds. Dr. Joesph Sonnabend, MD, founder, AmFAR 'According to the US Centers for Disease Control1s surveillance report for the year 2000, of all estimated AIDS cases, only 3 percent were heterosexually transmitted'

POZ journalist Patrick Califia 'Among New York City's 15,000 AIDS cases, there were only eight female to male transmissions, and I have doubts about seven.' Former Department of Health investigator Anastasia Lekatas.-

The article also includes the odd contention that men get AIDS from women in Africa and other developing nations, but they do not get AIDS from women in the developed worlds a difference that has not been adequately explained.

one lady I remember that got it that made the news... from her dentist, who was a bisexual male and who contaminated her during dental surgery... probably via a dirty needle.

every other woman I know who has had it... was a user of injected drugs or blood tranfusion from an 'addicts' money-for-your-infected-blood clinic.

you just don't get aids unless you are a homo male, or drug injector.

I like the part about "adopt practices that reduce the risk of HIV."To these flaming faggots, that means that all normal people, especially the clean fresh meat, should be coerced into having sex with them.

The whole purpose of the full court press in the left-wing media to convince normal people that "faggots are nice people" is to recruit clean, fresh meat.

But, AIDS among fairies seems like one of those perfect self-resolving issues. Just leave things alone and the problem will disappear of its own accord.
