Changing words like that is Orwellian '1984' like speak. We conservatives usually are the ones fighting chanes to our language like "chairperson" or "chair" instead of "chairman", "humanity" instead of "mankind", "Ms." instead of "Miss" or "Mrs."

Oh lighten up, for Pete's sake, or better yet, have a drink- it's Friday. I think it was rather bold of her to do that in an academic environment, as we all know where they normally stand on poltical issues.
