WARREN -- A former congressional candidate in the Warren-Youngstown area, 47-year-old Maridee Costanzo, has pleaded innocent to an eight-count state indictment on weapons charges.
Her plea came in Warren Municipal Court Monday.
She appeared in waist and leg shackles and wearing a striped orange coverall outfit of federal jail inmates. Separately from the weapons charges, Costanzo faces federal charges in a murder-for-hire scheme that targeted her lawyer husband.
Last week, Costanzo waived her right to have evidence of an alleged murder-for-hire plot go before a federal grand jury in Cleveland. That may indicate a plea deal is imminent.
Costanzo lost in a 2002 Democratic primary in northeast Ohio’s 17th Congressional District.
A democrat and a lawyer: I believe this is the definition of Antisocial Personality Disorder (career criminal).
I wonder if she threw an ashtray at him....interesting.
The Warren/Youngstown area is a cesspool of corruption and has been under DemocRAT control for decades. Go figure. This is Trafficant country.
Well, let's see, Cleveland, ruled by Dems, is a mess. Youngstown, ruled by Dems, is a mess. Toledo, ruled by Dems, is a mess. Columbus, just taken over by a Dem mayor, is turning into a mess. Cincinnati has been a basket case for twenty years, mostly with a weak mayor and Dem-controlled city council.
If you total it up, about half the state population lives in cities with Dem control. This is the part of the state that is losing population and jobs.
Now we have Dem political operatives taking out contracts on their spouses.
So, dear MSM, please... tell me again about some missing coins.

I hate this statement. It's incorrect - in fact it's a LIE. It should say "entered a plea of not guilty".
The media doesn't want the word "guilty" to even enter into the picture. But .. the truth is - a person "enters a plea" to determine if the judge will sentence them or if they will go to trial. If they enter a plea of "guilty" - then the judge will pronounce the sentence. However, if they enter a plea of "not guilty" - they get a jury trial.
For the media to say he pleaded INNOCENT - IS FALSE and misleading - but what else is new with these media idiots.
