Yes. It's just that I have heard it said that the Schindlers are the one's interested in cashing in. This would indicate that's not so...at least not exclusively.

I have always thought that Michael declined to divorce Terri and allow her parents to have custody because that would mean losing all movie and book rights to her story. He could have sold his story, but it would have been worth less without the rights to Terri's story, owned by her next of kin...the Schindlers.

For Michael it has always been about the money. After Hollywood goes into the usual bidding war for his New York Times best-seller...those long years will finally pay off for Michael and the new Mrs. Schiavo.
