Its the moonbats who dominate the anti-war rhetoric. If they were content with saying the grounds for going to war were wrong that's one thing. But they have let their hatred for President Bush override their good sense. They're willing to read things into a memo from a foreign government that aren't there so they can drive out from office a President for whom a majority of the American people voted. And even if President Bush lied as John Conyers contends, so what? Back in 1998, the same Conyers was arguing Clinton's lies didn't rise to the standard of an impeacheable offense. The same is true here and Bush's critics haven't even proven he lied about taking the country to war.
(Denny Crane: "Sometimes you can only look for answers from God and failing that... and Fox News".)
But they have let their hatred for President Bush override their good sense.I disagree with your statement only to the extent that it implies that the moonbats now have, or have ever had, good sense.
I learned the first time I heard Conyers speak that it would be best to ignore him. I grew up believing that if a man speaks in public and is always wrong, he proves nothing beyond his own stupidity.
Call me bitter, but I'm so ashamed and tired of these so-called "fellow Americans."
