The French company wanted changes made to the track at the very last minute. Made the claim late last night. Remember the next time you tire shop.
I hear that they insisted that the US ratify the International Criminal Court and UN Declaration of Human Rights.
whatever, I will get whatever tires I want, French or not.
It looks like they had legit safety concerns and I can respect that.
besides according to ESPN.com, 9 of the 10 teams there AGREED to the proposed changes, but Ferrari did not.
Honey, we conveniently tire shopped right after the French snubbed our noses over Iraq.
We're still boycotting the Frogs.
Buy Goodyear.
Actually, when I bought the tires for my Ducati, I really wanted to check out the Michelins, since that's what Ducati runs in the many of their race teams. However, given my feelings towards any french company, I was more than happy to buy yet another set of Dunlops for my Duck.
I've never had a problem with the Dunlops, just thought I might try something new and different (they've just come out with a new, multi-compound DOT tire, something that they've been doing on their racing slicks for quite some time.)
