Guests and topics on Tony's show today include:
Senator Lindsay Graham will be on to talk about the battles over Bolton and Gitmo.
Dick Disturbins politicization of tragedies like the Soviet gulags and the Holocaust ends up hurting the actual survivors of those experiences. Does Durbin hurt the survivors more than he helps his cause?
Abstinence Works , although the left tries to say otherwise. One scholar says their numbers are all wrong and will be on to explain .

Tuesday Snow-man ping. Good morning!
Good Morning!
Good morning, tol and all. It's the first day of summer but it seems more like it's half over. A pox on Graham.
Cute graphic, tol. I see I got the ping list to copy this morning,.. 'Doh!
Yup, It worked!
Woof.
Wow, Tony going to have an actual gulag survivor who used to work for Amnesty International.
It's the first day of summer but it seems more like it's half over.
I think around here we had about an hour and a half of spring and then it went right into summer. We had a thunderstorm around 6 weeks ago that had hail! LOTS of hail. I hope it's not a sign of things to come!
Good morning!
From your mouth to God's Ear!
Pavel Litvanof coming up. Gulag survivor who could tell that flamin' idiot damfool Dick Disturbin a thing or two about the real world.
Pavel clarifies he wasn't in gulag per se. Was in prison, relocated to settlement and had to work as a miner. Several of his friends were in the gulags though and he's knowlegable about them.
Pavel was sent off for 4 years.
BUMP!!
Tony talks about the death camps, the starvation, rotten food etc. Pavel confirms these were the conditions. Says it was a system to kill and intimidate the rest of the population.
Prague Spring was an attempt by Czech's to create free socity, protested against Soviets. Pavel organized a peaceful group of protestors. They were beaten, several lost teeth, arrested and sentenced to labor camps and exiled to Siberia.
Eventually his wife and son were allowed to join him and they lived in a hut. Very cold. He was forced to work in the mines 4 years, nearly died from pneumonia.
Says dozens of his friends died in labor camps usually from trying to protest the Soviets trying to enact change.
Says gulags are places of immeasureable suffering. His opinion is the prisoners in Gitmo can't be kept there indefinitely but Gitmo is certainly no gulag.
This guy has been involved with Amnesty International but thinks they need to knock off the comparisons of Gitmo with gulags.
