ARE WE the people who fought so gallantly on BOTH sides at Gettysburg, Antietam, Shiloh, Chickamauga, etc??

Did WE free Cuba and the Philippines from the Spaniards??

Did OUR nation produce Sgt. York and Audie Murphy and thousands of other heroes who fought and died in the Argonne Forest, Normandy, the Bulge, Iwo Jima and Okinawa???

I too am disgusted, Zulu.
It is a sorry bunch of politicians we now see in control of our lives, our childrens lives, and our grandchildrens lives.
Our sorry bunch of politicians prove more everyday, they are unfit to govern, yet for some reason, these sorry politicians continue to be elected.
Call me disgusted to see the treason portrayed by our elected, which has become our elected's standard operating procedure.

Yes I now know, we are operating under "The Rule of Law."

Wait until your grandpa has a stroke or a bad illness and see if the doctor doesn't prescribe a morphine drip that will take him away in about 4 days. This is the future of America, forced euthanasia on sick, disabled and elderly American citizens, in order to have more money to take care of the illegals health care needs.

Our government has turned against American citizens and are supplanting millions of illegals who will do slave labor for the few businesses that are still in America.

I'm disgusted too. It seems so few of our citizens see the obvious comparison between what is occurring at the hands of Mexican thugs within our country now, and the murderous exploits of Pancho Villa in the State of New Mexico nearly a century ago.

We've no option left to exhaust except the military option. The Mexican government has exhausted all our other options.

I agree with you, it's a very alarming when those we pay to protect and defend our country don't.

What another person said was, why do we keep electing the same people over and over? It's a good question.

You mentioned American history. Many years ago American leaders didn't make careers out of politics. Now, they all do, and make life long careers out of it. Long ago, they served one term and went back to the farm or where ever.

This in my opinion is one of the biggest problems.

Look at those in Politics. That's all they know, and go from one office to another, riding the wave. Look at those in Congress and the Senate. Most have been there for many years. City counsel members go on to be county supervisors, then Mayors, and then any number of positions in state governments.

Lets face it. The longer they are in office the more the potential for corruption. It's no secret.

They cultivate friends and buddys over the years, and we know where all this goes from there.
