I smelled the change a lot earlier than this; not just the gutless failure to vote on judges, but with the failure to remove Arlan Specter. Removing Specter would have set the tone; failure to do so also set a tone. Specter is pro-abortion and has not done what he said he would in order to keep his chair.

Basically, GWB has accomplished NADA (Spanish for zilch, he speaks illegal) for the country, only his foreign policy is excellent. If he does nothing that people voted him in for ASAP, he will loose the GOP majority in both houses. I see a BIG majority being disgusted and not voting.

BTW, it is not only Catholics, but also all other orthodox people who voted Republican, including Orthodox Jews.

Do you speak for everyone? I voted for him for many different things. Yes, I'm concerned about the borders, but that's not my ONLY concern! You don't speak for me, and you don't speak for everyone else on this board either! I'm sure they all have their reasons for voting one way or another. But I feel safe enough to say that there are a lot of people who would agree with me; on or off this board!
