He should have avoided the cancerous and moral relativistic "Thou Shalt Not Undercut Incumbents in Your Party's Caucus." and supported Toomey over Spector, for starters. Imagine what THAT would have done. It would have been HUGE. Would have changed, possible ended the dynamic of lip service.
He could have made abortion more of the issue from within his own ranks, instead, I'll say it yet again: The GOP White House and GOP controlled Congress increased Title X funding for abortion EVERY year since Bush took office.
He could of line item vetoed that! He has not. Not once.
I designed VOTE PRO-LIFE yard signs FOR BUSH. Over 30,000 were distributed between the 2000 and 2004 elections in heavily Pro-Life Louisiana.
I now think Bush is not as Pro-Life as we were told he was, and that the GOP owns Pro-Lifers like the DNC owns welfare recipients.
It's a sham bigger than I first imagined.

Actually, the Line Item Veto was ruled unconstitutional by the Supreme Court during the Clinton administration (the one time Clinton was actually right, and they overrule him, typical)

I have news for you. Toomey would have lost PA.
In order for Toomey to have won, approximately 200,000 to 300,000 Kerry voters would have had to split their tickets. It would never have happened.
In fact i bet Toomey would have trailed Bush by 1-2 points

Call me disloyal to the Republican Party, but I am a pro-life conservative FIRST.
