Rights groups call for end to Zimbabwe's 'crime against humanity'

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa (AP) -- More than 200 international human rights and civic groups called on the African Union and United Nations on Thursday to stop Zimbabwe's government from destroying the homes and livelihoods of poor city dwellers. The groups, including London-based Amnesty International and Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights, released smuggled footage showing hundreds of thousands of people on the move after police torched and bulldozed their shanty town homes.

It is interesting when it was only white farmers being kicked-off their land these groups were silent. Now that Mugabe is starting to cleanse his country of undisrable black people they stand-up and try to be heard.
I hope they can stop this monster, but who will put pressue on him? The French? The Germans? Doubtful.

Too bad they squandered any moral authority they might have had, by launching frivolous and politically motivated charges against the United States.

Hey, according to today's Supreme Court Ruling, Mugabe is right in step with the U.S.in taking away private property.
