I might become just at nutty as this woman if I came upon 2000 bicyclists. Dealing with a solo rider in the middle of the lane on a windy road with blind turns is enough to push me over the edge.

Masses of green leanin' bicycle riders on public hwys are the new oppressed minority...

Grannie was probably worried about accidently running one over and stressed out a little..

They can be some seriously abnoxious critters

Naturally as soon as they finally got one car driver to bite they called the law and whined

imo

Was "honking her horn continuously" the crime?

Anyone who rides his/her bike after they get a drivers license is a loser. I'm with the granny on this one.

If there was a minimum speed posted as there is on most highways the bicyclists should of been thrown in the pokey.

Following 2000 bicyclists riding in their clown costumes would be enough to send anyone over the edge.

I don't know to comment on this. 2000 bike weanies vs gun-toting granny. Not sure I'd want to share a highway with any of them.

Why do ALL bicycle riders wear helmets, but over half the folks who ride motorcycles wear a scarf or no headgear at all?

Encountered a pickup driver outside of Fairplay doing the same damn thing while riding up Hoosier Pass back to Breckenridge in 1991 during an Evergreen Cycling Club century. Some cyclists are idiots to be sure but a lot of those mountain goobers just don't like city folks riding their bikes in the mountains. Have had the same kinds of problems while riding my motorcycle in that part of the state.

If they want use the "MOTORWAY" they should meet the same standards that cars and trucks must meet and be licencensed, taxed and tagged. The operators should also be tested and licensed to operate out on the open MOTORWAY.

I just about ran several of the 'ride the rockies' cyclists over the other day. Watch for spandex speedbumps

I personally love to ride bicycles. I do try to be as courteous as possible when it comes to cars and trucks on the road that I'm trying to share, I actully prefer off-road riding. But bicycle touring is a lot of fun. My honeymoon this fall is a trip to Ireland where bicycle touring is a large part of the fun.

Granted, there are those cyclists that can be rude. But by-and-far I've found just as many rude motorists. Then again, to be fair, I find the rude motorist to be far-and-wide between.

My $.02 for what it is worth...
