My conspiracy theory on Tom Cruises' unusual behavior of late... I'll start it by saying that I spent a good part of today reading up on Scientology.... My theory: I think he is trying to get out of the cult. He isn't getting new recruits with his behavior. Hes turning people off... I think he may have just tried to leave when the 'Gay Tom Cruise' rumors started to circulate. That brought him back in line with the church... I think he is trying to get himself kicked out.
Just a theory, but it makes sense after looking at some of other 'EX' Scientology stories today.
The religion doesn't let go lightly, especially someone like Cruise. .

Well, if he is trying to be expelled why not go on a prescription drug induced binge. He's an actor. He knows how to be creative. ;^)

The problem with that is he helped get Katie recruited. If he's changing his mind about $ci, why expose another innocent person to the cult. Other than that, it would seem like a possibility.
