John Chancellor of NBC News said it best when NBC Monitor when off the air in 1975 about where you really have no format that appeals to almost everyone anymore. I think he saw it coming even then and I think that's what we have now. Hmmm, maybe we can start a Ham Radio Channel or the Guys Who Like To Fix Old Roundie Color TV's Channel. B-)

Personally, I think cable should go ala carte to where you buy each digital channel individually for pennies a month. I want my history, technology, old movie, NASCAR and old cartoon channels but I certainly don't want my dollars going to the homosexual channels, it should be my choice.

I don't mind that there's a gay channel, since I don't watch TV except for the news when I eat dinner. I don't mind gay content on shows I don't watch. But it's just peculiar to see everyone scurrying into their little demographic TV holes. I'm sure gays would say that most TV is aimed at straights, but most people ARE straight, and it's not like gaybashing goes on on mainstream TV shows.
