It's absolutely Natalee Holloway. I haven't actually watched, but I have seen promos (watching other things on FNC) of Greta in the homes of the accused, talking to the relatives, etc. Real pathetic tabloid stuff. But it sells, I guess.

Greta is wall-to-wall Aruba.

I only watch Brit Hume's show.

"It's probably becuase of the Natalee Holloway case."

BINGO. Definitely. Personally, I find Greta very hard to take over an entire hour during the regular show format, in studio. IMO, she has never been "ready for prime time." There is an unpolished aspect to her on-air presentation.........like diction and elocution. Her voice is grating. She has an annoying regional (Wisconsin) country-girl twang........pronounces BAG as "BEG," and innumerable other ear-splitting, irritating linguistic flaws.

When she's doing her regular in-studio shows, I can't make it beyond the first half hour. Then, I have to quit. I simply find the woman's voice and facial gestures too bothersome. For me, she comes in 2nd, after Susan Estrich for these reasons........although she's probably a very nice person in a private setting. It's just that in all of her now 11 years since she burst onto the scene (how, I can't imagine) during the O.J. drama.......no one - apparently - has even noticed that she had no professional TV-presence, on camera training to begin with.

I admit that she has done a good job in Aruba, digging around for what scraps of information there are in that forlorn, depressing and bewildering case.

you are exactly right. Once the story is done the ratings will fall a bit. I know she makes a lot of money, but you think she would be a little embarressed at the types of stories she is covering for weeks and weeks and weeks. While this story is a tragedy and I hope the case is resolved soon it does not merit the amount of coverage it has received. When her show comes on I hit the remote

Correction: It's TOTALLY because of the Natalee Holloway case. They have been playing this to the hilt, and interviewing Greta on every other FOX show.

Probably = DEFINATELY. There are many consumers of TV that eat up thesestories. I think it's easier to watch Greta than read a murder mystery. Face it, TV "news" is mostly entertainment.
