Which Will Improve Air Quality.

Well gee thanks for telling us that. We are just to stupid to figure out that wind and rain clears the air.

I'm in the Minneapolis-St Paul area.

If everything holds up as planned, you'll definitely be seeing your fair share of wind and rain within the next 12 hours.

Lot of 'air stagnation' tonight on ABC, CBS and NBCNews. High 'stink factor' alert for MSNBC and CNN till midnight.

We've had .06" rain for June so far.

I'm afraid to ask for rain, you know! ...we're a bit flood-prone, if you haven't see the pictures.

We've had about 0.4" which is about a tenth what we should have. Grass is as brown as hay and it's been HOT...

I worked my way through law school as a demand researcher at Wisconsin Power & Light - and the classic pattern was a 3 day hot spell - highs in the 90's and high humidity. At some psychological breaking point everyone would go home and hit their A/C full tilt - and create a new system peak demand. Given Wisconsin's failure to add capacity - it could be brownout time, or time for interruptible power to be yanked.

Places up here got as much as a foot over the weekend. My particular area is expecting 1 to 2 inches overnight...
