Air America is the modern equivalent of broadcasts by "good" Americans like Axis Sally and Lord Haw Haw. Both were convicted of treason for their broadcasts from Nazi Germany.
Joyce was executed in England. Gillars was jailed for a number of years.
They did not violate "law" they violated the Constitution.
The only way to make what they did okay is to amend the Constitution.

A freeper made the composite. The media (actually snooping trolls) exploited the parody and made sure that it got seen to discredit the real one.
Corbis refused to permit FR to even display the actual image by referenced link yet they did not stop liberal Snopes from displaying the image ON THEIR OWN SERVERS. I doubt they paid for the images.
What's more there IS NO copyright to the composite. No court ever awarded the composite to Corbis. They did not want it to be seen as it manipulated the photographer's work. However the creation of that "art" was not by Corbis. They do not own it and will not license its use. Yet you can find it on Snopes.
Liberals protect their own. The double standard exposed.
I know that Corbis was aware of the Snopes use of the images because I am the one who tipped off their legal team. Snopes added a credit of the image but still have numerous violations of use.
The only time they ever seemed to get ticked was when the UN offices got bombed in Iraq.
But it was the Michael Moore type outrage of "Why would you destroy the WTC? Those people voted for Gore!"

There were Americans actively working with Stalin's Soviet Union in the 1940s and 1950s.
