The Truth About Islam... From the Book That CAIR Didn't Want to Be Sold!
The Life and Religion of Mohammmed, published by Roman Catholic Books | 1912 | Re. J.L. Menezes

Posted on 06/27/2005 7:56:04 PM PDT by Pyro7480

From Part Fourth: Sects in Islam:

We shall end [this part] by summarizing the characteristic features of Mahommedanism [sic] in the words of a distinguished German scholar who thus writes: 'A Prophet without miracles; a faith without mysteries; and a mortality without love; which has encouraged a thirst for blood, and which began and ended in the most unbounded sensuality.'

We most confidently place this book before the sixty millions of Mussulmans [Muslims] who are in India following blindly one who while he proclaimed himself prophet of God, gave not the slightes[t] proof of his divine mission either by the working of miracels or by the sanctity and purity of his life, which was rather a life of the greatest wickedness, of heart-rending cruelty, and of unbounded sensuality. The religion of Mahommed [sic] was founded on human passions; it encourages fatalism, despotism, and sensualism; it reduces humanity into unutterable degradation and it gives no guarantee for the after happiness of one's immortal soul. It is on behalf of these sixty millions of Mussulmans [Muslims] in India that this little book has been compiled, and it is our earnest prayer that at least the well-educated and enlightened Mussulmans [Muslims] may read this book with unbiased and unprejudiced minds.

What CAIR says about The Life and Religion of Mohammmed

"...an virulently Islamophobic book"
"...anti-Muslim screed [which] is the literary equivalent of ‘The Protocols of the Elders of Zion'"

Since CAIR gave it such raving reviews, I think I will have to check it out.

Mohammed looked at the Jews and saw that they were strong because of their faith in one God. He looked at the Christians and saw that they were strong because of their faith in one God. He coveted what the Jews and Christians had. There can be only one author to a religion based on envy.

Nothing on this Web site condemning terrorism.

CAIR's too busy with this crap I guess -

Yep, sounds like a religion to me.  I haven't faced my share of unutterable degradation yet.   Where do I join?

I'm convinced that Mohammed created the religion to woo the followers of the Moon God over to his side and to provide a mechanism for conquest. Islam = obedience. I surmise that is obedience to Moslem conquest. The modern doctrine that a mosque cannot be un-mosqued is the doctrine of never undoing the conquest.

It isn't the lack of multiple gods that has made Judaism and Christianity successful. It is the fact that they, along with every other major religion, are moral and in accordance with the golden rule. Because Islam isn't, it produces failed societies.

You need to read Prophet of Doom... In this book the author describes a theory that the reason for Islam was to take over the polytheistic shrine that contained a bunch of rocks that were supposedly imbued with the spirits of the multiple gods that they worshipped at that time.

Mohammed was in line to inherit all this (and money and power) but he was sold off by what remained of his immediate family.

Allah by the way is a piece of black rock.

An excellent book.
It provides good historical background about Mohammed. I don't believe CAIR disputes the facts contained in this book -- just the conclusions that the author draws from them.
Rather than acting like cockaroaches, CAIR should be happy to shine the spotlight on Mohammed ... unless, of course, they're afraid of the truth being known.
