The REAL Abuse at Gitmo

After speaking with soldiers, sailors, and civilians who collectively staff the Joint Task Force - Guantanamo Bay, Cuba on my recent visit to that base, I left convinced that abuse definitely exists at the detention facilities. But not the slander and hyperbole about alleged mistreatment of the unlawful combatants confined there that we've all heard. There is far more serious abuse: the relentless, merciless attacks on American servicemen and women by these same terrorist thugs

Very revealing. We should send the members of Congress who have doubts down there to do the guard duty. Ted Kennedy,Nancy Pelosi,Dick Durbin,Harry Reid,Joe Biden and the rest of the damn liberals should have to pull guard duty for a year. These crying Ba$tard$ and Bitche$ are traitors and when the time comes Americans should well remember these gutless cowards who are willing to sacrifice those who are charged with defending America. They all are like Ted Kennedy, that would leave an American citizen to drown in a heartbeat to save their own A$$e$. If anyone in America needs to be impeached it is the whole damn Democrat Party!

Fair and legally compliant treatment is interpreted as weakness.
These people throughout their lives have been indoctrinated to kill and destroy these infidels.
Saddam took drastic, deadly actions which were recognized as strength.
Our treatments, they just laugh at and feel encouraged to harass their guards.
Strict, stepped up rules based on degree of disobedience including impropriety, need to be established to reestablish strict discipline.
Make 'em stand at attention and greet their keepers.
The alternative is the forever dark hole without contact.

That is exactly the same thing my Congressman, Tom Cole, stated on his return after traveling with the Duncan Hunter group. He confirmed the abuse is by the prisoners toward our military.
