Funny at 50' I can put four or five of six in the bulls eye, at 75 feet I can't even hit the target!

Don't feel bad. Under the bending stress of an actual defensive shooting, many good shots are lucky to hit a torso at 25 feet.

One thing I learned in the USMC is to aim before squeezing the trigger. Never had to fire in anger (thank G*d), but I am very big on taking one second to aim my weapon. When I shoot at the range I try to fire as fast as I can while aiming, that might explain why only 4 or 5 are dead on target. The other two are within an 8 or 10 inch group. Not bad, but it is nice know that over fifty feet is a wasted bullet.
