Well, that's the difference between C&H and Bloom County. What's new today, is old hat and trite three years from now. Watterson didn't really spend much time on daily issues -- he was more focused on timeless stuff. It'd be hard to keep that up for 365 strips/year forever.
I'd settle for a new strip once a week, once a month.....just anything...something.....
